What is FLEW?

Consortium Structure

FLEW is made up of representatives of equality-seeking organizations that are committed to FLEW's goal of increasing women's access to information about family law rights. Our group is composed of a Project Coordinator, a Management Committee and a Reference Group.

Project Coordinator

The role of the Project Coordinator is to oversee the day-to-day management and progress of the Project. In particular, the Coordinator will conduct a literature review of existing family law materials to identify gaps in information. She will consult with the member organizations and other outside agencies as may be required to develop a communications plan, and will coordinate and supervise the production of materials developed for the Project.

Lisa Cirillo is the Project Coordinator of FLEW. Contact Lisa at: info@familylawforwomen.com.

Management Committee

The Management Committee serves as the steering and decision-making group for the Project, and provides direction and support to the Coordinator. There are seven member agencies in the Management Committee:

Reference Group

The Reference Group acts as a resource to the project and provides advice to the Management Committee on how best to connect with the larger community, as the project moves forward. To the extent possible, the Reference Group will ensure that the needs and perspectives of the diversity of women in Ontario, particularly women who may be isolated or who may face barriers to accessing legal information, are shared with the Management Committee.

Set out below is a list of agencies that have agreed to sit on FLEW's Reference Group:
